Taylor Swift’s Vma Diss Was Misinterpreted, Not Aimed At Harry Styles, Says Pal Ed Sheeran

Taylor Swift And Ed Sheeran Romance Rumors Possibly True? ‘Lego House’ Singer Defends Swift For Her MTV VMAs F-Bomb

Mind you, there are two whole people between Swifty and her One Direction ex-beau. While the immortalized moment looks innocuous enough, we’re guessing the two were just wrangled into posing together rather than making headway on the Camp Pop Music Accords. We’d love to know what their exchange looked like before and after that picture was taken. Awkward much? The photo is surprising only because the two, who dated briefly last year before breaking up in January, were on full display during the award show (nearly as much as Miley Cyrus’ everything was). Perhaps, when Styles posed for the photo, he hadn’t heard about his former flame’s mouthing “shut the … up” toward him and his band mates when they were presenting the night’s first award. Or maybe he thought she was talking about someone else during her acceptance speech for “I Knew You Were Trouble.” You know, the one where she thanks “the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is,” because he earned her a Moonman. Yes, she did. After she performed it at the Brit Awards in March, Swift revealed that she had penned the infamous song about Styles. PHOTOS: MTV Video Music Awards | Arrivals “Well, it’s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is directed at is standing by the side of the stage watching,” she told Britain’s Sunday Times Magazine at the time. “You’re balancing the analytical side of your brain, which is telling you where to go and how to go there, with the other side of your brain, which is saying, ‘Feel everything you’re singing, and show it on your face.

Harry Styles responds to Taylor Swift’s VMAs on-stage dig, Liam Payne calls it ‘lame’ and Niall Horan tells her to ‘get over it’

Lego House Singer Defends Swift For Her MTV VMAs F-Bomb ED SHEERAN CLAIMS THAT TAYLOR SWIFT SHOULD NOT BE BLAMED FOR HER MISINTERPRETED REMARK ABOUT ONE DIRECTION. September 1, 2013 10:07 AM EDT | PRINT Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift in an Ungarded Moment As opposed to what people are thinking, Taylor Swift’s candid yet snarky remark during the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 does not pertain to Harry Styles or the British boy band One Direction. In a recent press conference, Swift’s buddy Ed Sheeran revealed that the ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer was misinterpreted when she said “Shut the f*ck up” which was unfortunately caught on camera. Right after 1D member Zayn Malik made a little speech about the band’s New Yorker fans, the female singer was then caught saying the infamous remark to her newfound best friend Selena Gomez. The ‘A-Team’ singer divulges what really happened that night. According to him, moments before Malik’s speech, Gomez nervously told Swift that Miley Cyrus could possibly win the award for Best Pop Video. As a supportive best friend, Swift found the idea ridiculous which prompted her to say, “Shut the f*ck up.” Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend eventually bagged the award that night. Sheeran also added that Swift knew that she “messed up” upon realizing that her words have been misinterpreted. Nonetheless, no one can attest that the blonde chart-topper’s gratitude speec h for her ‘Best Female Video’ Moonman award pertains to Styles. Both Sheeran and Swift sparked romance rumors after their ‘Everything Has Changed’ collaboration.

MTV VMAs 2013: Best and Worst

Pinterest page attributes Hitler quotes to Taylor Swift By MARC RAIMONDI Last Updated: 5:52 PM, August 30, 2013 Pinterest Taylor Swift cant hold onto a man, but she sure can, in theory, rule a group of people through fear and violence. A Pinterest page has been posting quotes from Adolf Hitler, Osama bin Laden and Joseph Stalin and attributing them to Taylor Swift. And users bought it. The moderator has since taken the page down because it “has become a bit too much of an Internet phenomenon for me to handle,” she wrote on the newly blank site. Before she deleted the pictures, one photo of Swift with a quote that reads Do not compare yourself to others. If you do so, you are insulting everyone had been repinned nearly 300 times. Of course, that wasnt said by the We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together singer, it was the leader of the Third Reich. But one user posted in response Your a genius and another wrote This is amazing! Pinterest The page is run by the user Emily Pattinson, who admits on Twitter (@poopcutie) : Yes I am the girl who started Hitler Quotes Attributed To Taylor Swift. Her last name likely is not Pattinson as her affinity for Robert Pattinson shows on social media. The only good that could come out of this would be if Taylor Swift acknowledges it and it pisses her off, Pattinson tweeted Friday morning. The Hitler quote great liars are also great magicians has 36 repins. Pattinsons latest Swift quote is actually from former Soviet leader Stalin: It isnt history that makes heroes, it is heroes that make history. You can almost hear Swift singing that in her next hit single. Almost. Pattinson writes that she had a good reason for the satirical site — to make a statement on the current social media world.

Taylor Swift Donates Signed Guitar to Benefit Rhode Island Fire Memorial

This time, the award-winning singer donated a signed guitar to a local auction in Rhode Island. Swift is a new resident of Westerly, R.I. The 23-year-old star just purchased a mansion there , and it sounds like shes already eager to be a part of the community. For her first neighborly endeavor, Swift donated a signed acoustic guitar that will be auctioned off on Sept. 20 during nearby West Warwicks centennial ball. Proceeds from the auction will go towards a Warwick High School Scholarship and the Station Fire Memorial Foundation. The foundation is raising funds to build a memorial at the former site of the Station nightclub, which burned in 2003, resulting in 100 deaths and 200 injuries. I just think its so cool that the first person out of the gates to support our efforts is our new Rhode Islander, says former West Warwick mayor J. Michael Levesque (quote via the Providence Journal ). We should be able to raise a significant amount of money for some very needy West Warwick charities with this very thoughtful and generous donation. Swift put her signature on the guitar sometime in the last month, so the item up for bid is very new. Levesque was the one who thought to reach out to Swifts publicity staff to request an item for the auction. Per usual, the country crossover star delivered! She is a Rhode Islander and now she is an official Rhode Islander because of her linkage to West Warwick, which we all know is the Mecca of the universe, he adds.

Adolf Swift-ler? Pinterest page attributes Hitler quotes to Taylor Swift

Harry Styles has responded to ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift ‘s VMAs on-stage dig – which was clearly aimed at him – and he’s not in the least bit fazed by it. Taking things to a petty level, Taylor made a less-than-subtle jibe as she took to the stage to accept her Best Female Video award for her song, I Knew You Were Trouble. Picking up her gong, she smirked: “I also want to thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I’ve got one of these.” And having previously admitted the song was written about Harry, the message hardly needed decoding. Taylor Swift is also thought to have say ‘shut the f*** up’ when Harry Styles took to the stage. Harry kept his media-savvy face firmly in place when he was asked about the quip at the New York premiere of This Is Us, telling Extra: “It’s alright, she likes a joke. I like a joke as much as the next guy, so it’s all good.” But his fellow One Direction bandmates were slightly less willing to let it slide, with Liam Payne branding her “lame” and Niall Horan telling her to “get over it”. Agreeing that her comments were ‘lame’, Liam added: “I just thought it was a bit not-needed. I mean, you just won an award, it’s like, ‘Concentrate on yourself!'” Niall and Liam then proceeded to joke about the whole ordeal, referencing Taylor’s massively-awkward moment at the VMAs in 2009 when Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech to say Beyonce should have won her award instead. Taylor Swift and Harry Styles were later snapped looking all smiles with pal Ed Sheeran backstage at the VMA’s. Louis Tomlinson joked: “We were a bit confused. We thought she was actually calling out Niall, so the whole thing’s a bit confusing.” Liam added: “Yeah, when she said those things about Niall, we were very, very pissed off.” Niall then quipped: “I was so upset that she would go writing songs about me after all we’ve been through.” Liam finished the banter off, simply adding: “Hashtag get over it … I was going to do a Kanye! It’s the best video of all time! …
